We just finished assembling this desk. I was very impressed with the directions and the quality of the pieces and parts. The manufacturer's website has videos website for further details of certain steps, but we never found that necessary. The desk is very sturdy and doesn't look like it cost [..]. If I'm every looking for inexpensive put-together furniture I would not hesitate to look at Target in the future.

I purchased 2 of these for my kids ages 5 and 7. It was an easy assembly process for me (mom). Will they last forever, of course not; but for the price, it's a great deal for a stury little desk. If I get 4-5 years out of them, I would be really happy. I also puchased the hutch to with each of them. My kids love them.

Perect study table for a young one

I bought this table for my 9-year-old to study in his room. It is the perfect size and was very easy to assemble. It lost a star due to its less than excellent material quality, but overall it is a good buy.

Very sturdy and looks great

I bought this for my 6 yo as she needed a place to do her homework. It is very heavy/sturdy and looks great. The only reason I rated it 4 instead of 5 is that it took me several hours to put together - but that is one of the reasons it is so sturdy. I have 0 worries about it's durability. The directions were very easy to follow and no special tools were needed - it was just time consuming. We also bought the hutch - and although I don't feel that piece is worth what they are charging for it, it is also well made and matches the desk perfectly. Most importantly, my daughter loves her new desk and is looking forward to doing her homework!
